## Overview

Atto Statement allows you to generate and retrieve an account statement in **PDF format**, providing a detailed overview of the account’s activity. The statement is created using **Atto Stored Data API**, not directly from the bank, ensuring seamless integration and consistent data representation.

**Please note:** To use this Atto Statement API, storage has to be switched on.

The generated PDF includes:

- **Balance Information**
- **Transaction Details**

## How It Works

The **Atto Statement** feature collects transaction and balance data from the bank to generate a professional, well-formatted PDF.
The statement includes the following sections:

1. **Account Information**
  - Account number and name
  - IBAN and other relevant identifiers
2. **Balance Summary**
  - Starting balance for the statement period
3. **Transaction Details**
Each transaction is displayed with the following details:
  - **Date:** The date the transaction occurred
  - **Description:** A description of the transaction
  - **Amount:** The transaction amount (credit or debit)
  - **Balance:** The running balance after each transaction
4. **Statement Period**
The statement reflects all account activity within a specified period, which can be customized based on the available data range.
